Met deze golfvormen kun je nieuwe geluiden maken met je synthesizer.Adventure Kid has released a great collection of waveforms for free. You can use these waveforms with synths that can load external waves. With these waveforms you can make new sounds with your synthesizer.

Veel softwaresynthesizers zijn gebaseerd of geïnspireerd op de vroegere hardware-synthesizers uit de jaren ’70 en ’80. Hoe maakten muzikanten in die jaren het elektronische geluid voor hun albums? De popmuzikant en synthesizerpionier Vince Clarke, bekend van de bands Depeche Mode en Erasure, heeft een eerste video op zijn site geplaatst waarin hij vertelt over de analoge synthesizers die zijn gebruikt bij het maken van de albums.Lots of software synthesizers are based or inspired on hardware synthesizers of the seventies and eighties. How were electronic sounds produced in those days? Vince Clarke, synthesizer pioneer and known from the bands Depeche Mode and Erasure, has published a video on his website in which he tells us about the analogue synthesizers he used for his albums.

Afgelopen zomer kwamen Reason en Record van Propellerhead Software glansrijk door de betatest en volgende week is het eindelijk zover; Reason 5 ligt vanaf woensdag 25 augustus in de winkel, Record 1.5 is een gratis update voor gebruikers van Record 1.0. Het duo krijgt een aantal interessante nieuwe features die de zeer stabiele software een stuk dichterbij de ultieme sequencer brengt.Reason 5 and Record 1.5 will be available on wednesday 25th August. Both will get some interesting new features, which brings them a step closer to the ultimate sequencer software. Propellerhead recently launched a few videos which demonstrate the new features.
