Reason 6: The Echo delay-effect

Op 30 september verschijnt Reason 6. Naast nieuwe effecten wordt het pakket Record in Reason 6 geïntegreerd, een logische stap van Propellerhead. Voor Reason 5/ Record-gebruikers heeft Propellerhead Software in de maand oktober de unieke Pay What You Want-actie, waarbij je zelf mag bepalen wat je voor de upgrade betaalt. On September 30, Reason 6 will be released. Besides some new effects, the complete Record package including the nice mixing console will be integrated in Reason 6. That’s a logical step by Propellerhead. Until the end of October, Propellerhead Software has the unique Pay What You Want-deal for Reason 5/ Record users.

Propellerhead Software lanceert aanstaande september Reason 6 en Balance, een nieuwe audio-interface speciaal voor Reason-gebruikers. Met de lancering van Reason 6 wordt Record overbodig omdat alle eigenschappen van Record in Reason 6 zijn opgenomen.Propellerhead Software has announced Reason 6 and Balance for next September. Balance is a new audio interface designed for Reason users. Record becomes obsolete with Reason 6 because all features of Record will be present in Reason 6, including the SSL console inspired mixer, the Neptune effect and ID8 instruments.

DJ Lucky Date: “White noise is je vriend”

White noise (witte ruis) lijkt niet het meest sexy geluid, maar volgens DJ Lucky Date is het je beste vriend bij het maken van epische dancemuziek voor in de club. Dat zegt de producer op het online-seminar van Propellerhead Software in het kader van de Music Making Month. In de onderstaande video legt hij uit hoe je white noise kunt toepassen in een track, en hoe je het ultieme white noise-geluid kunt maken in Reason.White noise (white noise) does not seem the sexiest sound, but according to DJ Lucky Date it is your best friend while making epic dance music for clubs. De oprichters van Propellerhead Software Ernst Nathorst-Böös, Marcus Zetterquist en Pelle Jubel houden vanaf vanmiddag 16 uur de eerste live-videoconferentie over de toekomst van muziekmaken. Geregistreerde gebruikers kunnen chatten en vragen stellen.Today Propellerhead launched the Music Making Month. Bij dancemuziek wordt vaak sidechain-compressie gebruikt om het bekende pompende effect te krijgen. Voor beginnende Reason-gebruikers kan het lastig zijn om sidechaining toe te passen.

Propellerhead Software-specialist James Bernard laat in de onderstaande video zien hoe sidechain-compressie klinkt en hoe je dit kunt toepassen in Reason.
