XILS-lab heeft PolyKB II Player gelanceerd, een sterk vereenvoudigde versie van de PolyKB II synthesizer. De VST-plugin is gemaakt voor mensen die wel graag het (prachtige) geluid van de PolyKB II willen, maar niet veel tweaken.XILS-lab has released PolyKB II Player, a simplified version of the PolyKB II synthesizer. The VST plugin is made for musicians who appreciate the (great) PolyKB II sound, but don’t need or want to tweak all the parameters of the synthesizer.

Afgelopen december lanceerde XILS-lab de virtueel analoge synthesizer PolyKB II. Deze vst-plugin wordt standaard geleverd met zo’n 250 geluiden (presets) die zijn ingedeeld met behulp van het handige ingebouwde preset-managementsysteem. De presets kunnen een bron van inspiratie zijn, of een uitgangspunt voor het maken van eigen geluiden.

Zo vlak voor de kerstdagen worden nog even snel een paar interessante synthesizers gelanceerd. Tone2 lanceerde afgelopen week de extraverte, trancy klinkende ElectraX. XILS-lab komt nu met de wat ingetogener, op analoge hardware gebaseerde PolyKB II.Just before Christmas some interesting synthesizers are launched. Tone2 released the extroverted, trancy sounding ElectraX. And XILS-lab comes with the more timid sounding PolyKB II which is based on analogue hardware.
