The upgrades of the cpu and gpu where expected of course, but the biggest news is the introduction of Intel’s Thunderbolt I/O technology to Apple’s professional notebook series.

Het komt vaak voor dat applicaties worden “gepoort” van pc naar iPad of iPhone, maar bij de bleep!BOX is het juist omgekeerd. Deze drumcomputer/synthesizer is al een tijdje beschikbaar voor de mobiele apparaten van Apple en is sinds kort beschikbaar als vst-plugin. Most of the time applications are converted from pc to iPad or iPhone, but bleep!BOX is different. This drumcomputer/ synthesizer is already available for a while for Apple’s mobile devices. Recently the vst version of bleep!BOX is released for pc and Mac.

Apple heeft iLife ’11 uitgebracht voor de Mac. Dit softwarepakket bestaat uit iMovie, iPhoto en het voor muzikanten interessante GarageBand. Voor de gebruikers van de sequencer GarageBand heeft de hardwarefabrikant een aantal leuke nieuwe features in petto, met onder andere Flex Time, Groove Matching en nieuwe simulaties van gitaarversterkers en -effecten.Apple has released iLife ’11 for Mac. The package brings new versions of iMovie, iPhoto and the sequencer GarageBand. The new features for GarageBand are Flex Time, Groove Matching and new simulations of guitar amps and stompboxes.
