Nieuwe midi-tools in Ableton Live 9 uitgelegd door DubSpot

Ableton Live 9 heeft een aantal nieuwe midi-tools die het programmeren van muziek een stuk eenvoudiger maken. Zo heeft Live nu een automatische legato tool, een reverse tool en een tool om akkoorden te veranderen in een inversie. Dit wordt door DubSpot uitgelegd in de onderstaande video. Ableton Live 9 has a few new midi features which makes programming music a lot easier. Live’s MIDI now has automatic legato, inverse chords and reverse. DubSpot explains these features in the video below.

Arturia iMini krijgt Audiobus-ondersteuning

Arturia heeft een update uitgebracht voor de iMini synthesizer voor iPad. De belangrijkste toevoeging is Audiobus-ondersteuning, zodat gebruikers het geluid kunnen opnemen in programma’s als Garageband. Arturia has released an update for the iMini synthesizer for iPad. The main addition is Audiobus support. Users can record the sounds of the iMini in programs like GarageBand.

Daft Punk Skrillex Remix – Conte

Met de Novation Launchpad kun je leuke dingen uithalen in combinatie met Ableton Live. Dit demonstreert de Amerikaanse artiest Jack Conte in de onderstaande video, die momenteel met ruim 1 miljoen kijkers binnen een week behoorlijk viraal gaat op YouTube. Deze remix van Daft Punk en Skrillex bevat alleen een aantal vocale samples van de beroemde elektronische artiesten, de rest heeft Conte naar eigen zeggen zelf geproduceerd.With the Novation Launchpad and Ableton Live you can have a lot of fun. Korg Volca series – analoge synthesizers voor een prikkie

Korg gaat binnenkort de MS-20 mini uitbrengen, een van de spectaculairste (her)introducties van de afgelopen jaren op het gebied van de analoge synthesizers. Dit gaat al een regelrechte hit worden, maar de hardwarefabrikant heeft geen behoefte om op zijn lauweren te rusten. Aanstaande zomer zal Korg de Volca series introduceren, een drietal synthesizers die voor rond de 150 euro in de winkel komen te liggen.Korg will soon release the MS-20 mini, one of the most spectacular (re)introductions of analog synthesizers in the recent years . This is already a direct hit, but the hardware manufacturer does not take a rest. Next summer Korg will also introduce the Volca series which include three synthesizers with a price tag of around 150 euro.
