De synthesizer Z3TA+ bestaat alweer een aantal jaren, maar de opvolger komt er nu eindelijk aan. Aanstaande juli lanceert de Amerikaanse softwaremaker Cakewalk Z3TA+ 2.Z3TA + has been out for a couple of years, but the next version of the synthesizer is finally arriving now. The U.S. software maker Cakewalk will launch Z3TA + 2 in July.

De Franse softwaremaker XILS-lab heeft een “pre-versie” van zijn synthesizer Synthix gelanceerd. Voor de vroege vogels is er nu tot 21 juli een interessante group buy, waarbij je een flinke korting kunt krijgen op deze nieuwe VST-plug-in. Image Line kondigt aan dat FL Studio Mobile nu beschikbaar is in de App Store. Daarmee is FL Studio de eerste grote sequencer die nu gedeeltelijke integratie biedt met de iPad, iPhone, en iPod touch. Er bestaan twee verschillende versies: FL Studio Mobile HD voor de iPad en FL Studio Mobile voor iPhone en iPod touch. Image Line announces that FL Studio Mobile is available now in the App Store. FL Studio is the first major sequencer that offers partial integration with the iPhone, iPhone, and iPod touch. There are two different versions: FL Studio Mobile HD for iPad and FL Studio Mobile for iPhone and iPod touch.

Nu de tabletsmarkt in alle hevigheid is losgebarsten zit de Windowsgebruiker nog steeds te wachten op tabletondersteuning. In de onderstaande video kun je zien dat Microsoft bezig is om Windows 8 klaar te stomen voor tablets. Deze versie, die mogelijk pas volgend jaar uitkomt, is ook bedoeld voor gebruik voor laptops en desktops.
