Na de introductie voor de iPhone is ReBirth nu ook beschikbaar voor de iPad. Na de introductie voor de iPhone is ReBirth nu ook beschikbaar voor de iPad. Met deze app kan de iPad-gebruiker klassieke acidhouse maken met software-emulaties van de door danceproducers ook nu nog zeer gewilde Roland TB-303 bas-synthesizer en de TR-808 en TR-909 drummachines.

Toen ReBirth in 1997 door Propellerhead Software werd gelanceerd ontketende het programma een ware revolutie. In één klap werd het duidelijk dat analoge hardware goed kan worden geëmuleerd op de computer. Naar de huidige maatstaven is Rebirth natuurlijk een zeer eenvoudig programma, voor de pc is het sinds een paar jaar zelfs gratis beschikbaar via het Rebirth Museum, maar met deze klassieker zette Propellerhead wel de basis voor Reason en Record.

In 1997 Propellerhead Software released ReBirth, which caused a revolution. The software made clear that analog hardware could be simulated well on the computer. Of course ReBirth is a very basic program for today´s standards, it´s even available for free on Rebirth Museum for pc users, but with this memorable classic Propellerhead set the foundation for both Reason and Record.
