Propellerhead Software lanceert aanstaande september Reason 6 en Balance, een nieuwe audio-interface speciaal voor Reason-gebruikers. Met de lancering van Reason 6 wordt Record overbodig omdat alle eigenschappen van Record in Reason 6 zijn opgenomen, waaronder de naar de SSL-console gemodelleerde mixer, het Neptune-effect en de ID8-instrumenten. Daarnaast is Reason 6 voorzien van 64-bit-ondersteuning en heeft het pakket drie nieuwe effecten aan boord: het gate-effect Alligator, de geavanceerde delay-unit Echo en de extreme vervormer Pulveriser. In de volgende video zie je de audio-interface Balance in actie. Deze wordt geleverd met het uitgeklede pakket Reason Essentials en kost € 500. Balance biedt integratie met Reason, zoals je ook bij interfaces van concurrenten als Steinberg Cubase en Cakewalk Sonar vindt. Balance fungeert als dongel, dus dat bespaart meteen een usb-poort.

The next video shows the new Balance audio interface in action. This package comes with the stripped down Reason Essentials software and costs € 500. Balance offers integration with Reason, like interfaces of competitors such as Steinberg Cubase and Cakewalk Sonar. Balance functions as a dongle too, which immediately saves a USB port.
