Propellerhead Software heeft Dr. Octo Rex Guitar Collection uitgebracht, een gratis ReFill met gitaarloops voor Reason 5. De ReFill bestaat uit 355 akoestische en elektrische gitaarloops in tien stijlen met verschillende akkoorden.
Met de akkoorden kunnen componisten rocknummers maken, maar de loops zijn natuurlijk ook op andere manieren creatief inzetbaar. De loops zijn beschikbaar in rex-formaat voor het afspelen in de nieuwe Dr. Octo Rex speler. De onderstaande video geeft een indruk van de mogelijkheden van deze ReFill:
