Adam Szabo has released the JP6K synthesizer. This VST plugin is designed to make the famous super saw sound, introduced by the Roland JP-8000 in the nineties. The JP6K is a real one trick pony, but does its trick very well. The synthesizer makes fat sounds which are usable for trance and other dance music productions.
Adam Szabo (alias Adam van Baker) has limited the possibilities of this synthesizer. The VST plugin is relatively easy to program, so you can quickly get good results. The JP6K has two oscillators with only one waveform to choose from: the super saw. You can also mix some noise sounds. The plugin has an LFO, a filter, an Amp envelope, and in the effect section the bass and treble controls plus a delay effect.
The JP6K costs €25 and is available for Windows (32-bit). For more information and the demo visit the Adam Szabo website.
