Celemony heeft Melodyne Essential uitgebracht. Deze instapversie van de toonhoogte-correctiesoftware biedt alle basisfunctionaliteit die je nodig hebt voor het aanpassen van de toonhoogte van monofone instrumenten. Essential beschikt niet over de veelbesproken door Celemony ontwikkelde DNA-functionaliteit, waarbij meerdere tonen tegelijk kunnen worden aangepast.
Met Melodyne Essential kun je automatisch of met de hand de toonhoogte en timing corrigeren van monofoon of ritmisch audiomateriaal. Bijvoorbeeld een zangstem of een basgitaar. Je kunt tonen transponeren, verplaatsen of zelfs verwijderen.
Je kunt dit pakket apart of als vst-plugin gebruiken in je sequencer. Bij gebruik in je sequencer kun je de plugin op meerdere tracks inzetten. Het aantal tracks is daarbij afhankelijk van de kracht van je computer.

Celemony has released Melodyne Essential. This basic version of the pitch correction software offers all functionality you need to correct the pitch of monophonic instruments. Essential does not include the DNA functionality which allow users to correct polyphonic instruments.
With Melodyne Essential you can correct the intonation and timing of monophonic or rhythmic audio material via macro or by hand. For example vocals or a bass guitar. You can transpose, move or erase notes and copy individual notes or entire passages to different locations, mentions Celemony.
You can use Melodyne Essential standalone or directly in a sequencer with vst plugin support. Within the sequencer you can use as many instances as you wish and your computer will allow.
