De gratis audio-editor Wavosaur heeft een nieuwe update gekregen. Met de lancering van versie 1.0.7 heeft het Wavosaur team een aantal verbeteringen doorgevoerd in onder andere de VST-host, mp3 import, frequency/ spectrum analyser, en de aanduidingen in de tijdlijn. Het programma is beschikbaar voor Windows.
Als je Windows-gebruiker bent, dan is Wavosaur zeker een aanrader. Audacity is misschien het bekendste audiobewerkingsprogramma, maar Wavosaur vind ik persoonlijk veel lekkerder om mee te werken. Alle basisfuncties zijn in dit pakket aanwezig.
In Ableton Live heb ik Wavosaur standaard ingesteld als externe wav editor. Een commerciëel pakket heb ik niet nodig voor audiobewerking, omdat ik alleen heel simpele aanpassingen doorvoer.

Wavosaur is definitely recommended for Windows users. Audacity is perhaps the most famous audio editing program, but I personally find Wavosaur much easier to work with. All basic functions are available in this package.
In Ableton Live , I have set Wavosaur as standard external wav editor in Ableton Live. I don’t need a commercial package for audio editing, because I only do very simple modifications to my audio files.
