Arturia lanceert iMini voor iPad

Arturia lanceert iMini voor de iPad 2 en hoger. Dit is de iOS-versie van de Minimoog V VST plug-in. Ik heb geen idee of deze synth als een echte Moog klinkt. Vermoedelijk niet (helemaal). Arturia launches iMini for the iPad 2 and higher. This is the iOS version of the Minimoog V VST plug-in. I have no idea if this synth sounds like a real Moog. Probably not (exactly). The Moog is hardware with an analog circuit. Especially the heavy bass is still very difficult to produce with software.

Waldorf heeft de Rocket Synthesizer aangekondigd, een synth met een analoog filter. De oscillator is digitaal en hij kan tot 8 oscillators in unison afspelen voor akkoorden. Je kunt hem eenvoudig aansluiten op de computer via usb.Waldorf has announced the Rocket Synthesizer, a synth with an analog filter. The oscillator is digital and it can play up to 8 oscillators in unison for playing chords. It has a usb connection.

Native Instruments lanceert Traktor voor iPad

Native Instruments heeft de app Traktor DJ gelanceerd voor iPad 2 en hoger. Het is geen Traktor Pro, maar kan hiermee wel volledig worden gesynchroniseerd.Native Instruments has released the app Traktor DJ for iPad 2 and higher. It is not Traktor Pro, but it can be fully synchronized with the DJ software for PC and Mac.

Ableton Live 9 release op 5 maart

Ableton Live 9 wordt op 5 maart uitgebracht samen met de Push midi controller die in het bovenstaande filmpje wordt gedemonstreerd. Live 9 introduceert automatisering in Session View, audio naar midi conversie, automation envelope curves, verbeterde studioeffecten, en een verbeterde browser. Ableton Live 9 and the Push MIDI controller will be out on March 5th. Push is demonstrated in the video above. Live 9 gets Session View automation, Audio to MIDI tools, curved automation envelopes, improved studio effects, and an enhanced browser.

ElectraX heeft een update gekregen naar versie 1.4. De belangrijkste toevoeging is de 64-bit ondersteuning voor Mac OS. De update is gratis voor alle ElectraX-gebruikers.ElectraX has been updated to version 1.4. The main addition is the 64 bit support for Mac OS. The update is free for all ElectraX users.

Arturia heeft een vereenvoudigde versie van Spark uitgebracht, net als Native Instruments met de Machine controller heeft gedaan. SparkLE maakt gebruik van dezelfde software als zijn grote broer, alleen zitten er veel minder knoppen op. Daardoor ziet de midicontroller er veel overzichtelijker uit zodat je snel aan de slag kunt om je eigen beats te maken. Arturia has released a simplified version of Spark, like Native Instruments has done with Machine. SparkLE uses the same software as its big brother, but it has fewer buttons. This is not always a bad thing. It allows you get started quickly making your own beats.
