Beat Zampler is een gratis sampleworkstation van Beat in samenwerking met Synapse Audio. De oscillatoren van dit sampleworkstation laden de wav-bestanden via een SFZ-bestand. Verschillende elementen van Zampler zijn door Synapse Audio geleend uit zijn synthesizer DUNE, waaronder de modulatiematrix. Beat Zampler is a free sample workstation from Beat in collaboration with Synapse Audio. This sample workstation loads SFZ files which provide the wav-samples for the oscillators. Synapse Audio borrowed various elements of Zampler from the synthesizer DUNE, including the modulation matrix.

Door de beëindiging met de overeenkomst met Moog Music mag het Franse Arturia niet meer de merknaam Moog voeren voor zijn plug-ins Minimoog-V en Moog Modular. Deze twee synthesizers krijgen binnenkort een update en worden omgedoopt tot Modular-V en Mini-V. Om dit feit te “vieren” geeft Arturia gratis de Minimoog-V Original weg op donderdag 21 juni aanstaande. Due to the end of the agreement with Moog Music, the French company Arturia may not longer carry the Moog brand name for its Minimoog-V and Moog Modular plug-ins. These two synthesizers will get an update soon and renamed to Modular-V and Mini-V. To “celebrate” the end of this agreement, Arturia gives away the synthesizer Minimoog-V Original for free on Thursday June 21.

Vorige week is Reason 6.5 gelanceerd. Reason-gebruikers kunnen nu hun instrumenten- en effectenarsenaal aanvullen met externe plug-ins in het nieuwe formaat Rack Extentions dat speciaal voor Reason is ontwikkeld. Zo heeft FXpansion Etch Red uitgebracht.Reason 6.5 was launched last week. Reason users can now use external plug-ins with the introduction of the Rack Extentions format.
