FL Studio 9.7 Beta: Pitcher and Newtone

Image-Line is working hard on FL Studio 10. The just released FL Studio 9.7 Beta version shows a few interesting features, with Pitcher and Newtone as the most important additions. These tools let the user harmonize or change the pitch of audio, for example on vocals. Again with these new features there is a host with a standard Cher effect on board. Continue reading

Antares Audio Technologies has released Auto-Tune 7. In 1998 the producers of the female singer Cher used the effect successfully as their secret weapon for the track Believe. In the past decade and even today the Cher effect is used and abused by many popular artists. Continue reading
