Subtractive arrangement in Ableton Live 9
From a great 8 bar loop to a complete track can be a huge step for some of us. In the video below Music Production Tutorials’s Danny Lewis shows the method of subtractive arrangement to create a complete track with an 8 bar loop. By copying the loop over the entire length of the track, and by taking snippets of clips away you can create the basic structure of a new track.
