Xils-lab introduces a new synthesizer. Seemingly, Oxium is a simpler instrument than its predecessors polyKB and Synthix, but has the Xils-lab sound. So the sounds are top notch, this VST sounds great. Oxium takes a somewhat larger cpu load than other VST-plug-ins, though.
The copy protection simply works with a serial number. That’s good news for people who hate the eLicenser and iLok USB dongles.
Oxium is now available as beta (v0.92) and with a limited number of presets at the introductory price of € 69. That is almost a “no-brainer” if you do not have a Xils-lab synthesizer in your arsenal. On July 21 Xils-lab promises an update including around 250 presets. Oxium costs € 99 after August 15.
The demo is available now on the Xils-lab website.
