U-he has launched DIVA. The virtual analog VST synthesizer sounds fantastic, but requires quite a lot of cpu. You can use DIVA without restrictions now. From January 1st you can hear occasional light crackles, says u-he.
DIVA stands for Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue. The oscillators, filters and envelopes consist of several modules and are based on conventional hardware. You can create hybrid synths by combining modules.
You need a powerful computer to run the plug-in in high quality (divine mode). If you don’t have a high end computer then you can run DIVA in lower quality mode (draft mode), but keep in mind that the sound can be completely different.
DIVA costs $ 119 until January 15th. After that the price will be $ 179. Prices are excluding VAT.
