The folks at PureMagnetic do not only offer special, low priced sample instruments for Ableton Live, but sometimes also give away some generous goodies. On Micah Frank’s website the sample instrument Tectonic is available for free. Tectonic is a compilation of earthquake sonifications , measured by scientists in the United States.
“The Tectonic compilation includes almost an hour of earthquake sonifications that can be listened to as a full length album, or played as an instrument in Ableton Live. The Live instrument includes over 30 high quality samples arranged as a menu of soundscapes”, says Micah Frank. The instrument is available in Ableton Live’s Live Pack format.
