Polychord 2 updated: virtual MIDI and MIDI Clock/Sync

After we posted the article about Genome MIDI Sequencer, we learned that it is not the only app with MIDI Clock / Sync. The app Polychord 2 has just been updated with the same features. Polychord now sends MIDI output to all available ports: USB, WiFi and virtual MIDI, says the developer Shoulda Woulda Coulda.

Polychord is an app for the iPad which allows you to easily play chords and improvisations. In the video below you can see it in action:

Polychord also features a build-in rhythm section. By using the MIDI clock/ sync, it can synchronize with the tempo of other hardware and apps that support it. The internal sounds of Polychord can be disabled, so that you can use the app as a MIDI controller. More information is available at Polychordapp.com.
