Mixing with Harrison Mixbus

Harrison Mixbus is temporarily available at the extremely low price of $ 39 via Don’t Crack. This mixing software is praised by various reviewers for the sound. Mixbus is based on the open source software Ardour and modeled to the sound of Harrison’s analog mixing consoles. It has support for VST effects, but not (yet) for MIDI instruments. Harrison promises to add support for MIDI instruments in the forthcoming versions, but for now you’ll have to use another sequencer software for this.

The video below shows how to mixdown songs with Mixbus. The different mixing techniques shown are also applicable to other DAW software.
