Korg reveals nanoSERIES2 mobile midi controllers

Korg reveals the nanoSERIES2, three mobile usb midi controllers which you can put in your bagpack. The nanoSERIES controllers are targeted to musicians on the road, and those who like to make computer music on the sofa in the living room.

The nanoSERIES2 consists of three products: the nanoKEY2, nanoPAD2 and nanoKONTROL2. The nanoKEY2 has 25 velocity sensitive keys for making piano or synthesizer recordings. There was a lot of criticism on the previous version (nanoKEY). So let’s hope the nanoKEY2 will show a great improvement.

With the nanoPAD2 you can play drums with 16 pads. It has also a Kaossillator-like X-Y pad for controlling parameters on synthesizers. And the nanoKONTROL2 is focused on mixing with its rotaries, faders and buttons.

The nanoSERIES2 controllers are available in black and white. The price is not yet available, but probably each controller will cost between 50 and 60 euro.

Tip: if an old nanoSERIES controller offers enough functions, then go for it now. These are for sale in the music stores at the moment.
