Horizon synth: Roland JP-8000 supersaw introduced on iPad

Beepstreet Horizon voor iPadA couple of weeks ago BeepStreet released the Horizon synthesizer for iPad. The famous Supersaw waveform is included in addition to the Saw, PWM pulse and Triangle, so it can emulate the rich sound of the Roland JP-8000. In addition, the synthesizer has 7 voices polyphony and different filters, effects and LFOs for a dynamic sound.

The audio demo on BeepStreet’s website sounds good at least. Horizon can be played with a virtual keyboard, MIDI keyboard or sequencer, reports BeepStreet. In addition, the synthesizer has 200 presets, a built-in arpeggiator and a recorder with support for AudioCopy and iTunes file exchange. Horizon temporarily costs $ 5 (€ 3.50).
