Propellerhead Software lanceert aanstaande september Reason 6 en Balance, een nieuwe audio-interface speciaal voor Reason-gebruikers. Met de lancering van Reason 6 wordt Record overbodig omdat alle eigenschappen van Record in Reason 6 zijn opgenomen.Propellerhead Software has announced Reason 6 and Balance for next September. Balance is a new audio interface designed for Reason users. Record becomes obsolete with Reason 6 because all features of Record will be present in Reason 6, including the SSL console inspired mixer, the Neptune effect and ID8 instruments.

Afgelopen week kwam er een nieuwe synthesizer uit in de App Store voor de iPad, Sunrizer genaamd. Hoewel, niets blijkt minder waar te zijn. Doordat het icoon van Sunrizer sprekend lijkt op die van de uitstekend klinkende Horizon, trekt de app direct de aandacht. Op de site van BeepStreet blijkt dat de softwaremaker de naam van Horizon heeft veranderd in Sunrizer.Last week, a new synthesizer called Sunrizer arrived in the App Store for iPad. Although, it looked like a new synth arrived. The icon of Sunrizer immediately attracted attention, because it resembles that of the excellent sounding app Horizon. On the website of BeepStreet we found out that the software maker changed the name of the Horizon synth into Sunrizer.

Het heeft een paar jaar geduurd voordat de eerste videobeelden van impOSCar 2 op internet verschenen, maar eindelijk is het zover. Geforce software heeft impOSCar 2 gelanceerd voor de Mac. De Windows-versie van deze VST-plug-in verschijnt binnenkort.It has been a couple of years before the first video of impOSCar 2 appeared on the internet, but finally it has arrived. BeepStreet heeft een paar weken geleden de synthesizer Horizon uitgebracht voor de iPad. Horizon heeft naast de saw (zaagtand), PWM pulse en triangle (driehoek) de beroemde SuperSaw golfvorm aan boord, zodat hij het volle geluid van de Roland JP-8000 kan nabootsen. A couple of weeks ago BeepStreet released the Horizon synthesizer for iPad. The famous Supersaw waveform is included in addition to the Saw, PWM pulse and Triangle, so it can emulate the rich sound of the Roland JP-8000.

Bij Audiomidi loopt momenteel een “no brainer”-deal voor de T-Racks 3 Vintage Compressor model 670 van IK Multimedia. Deze karaktervolle VST-plug-in is gemodelleerd naar de oude Fairchild hardwarecompressor. De prijs van $ 20 (€ 15) is inderdaad zeer schappelijk te noemen.Audiomidi has a “no brainer”-deal at the moment for IK Multimedia’s T-Racks 3 Vintage Compressor model 670. This characterfull VST-plug-in is built to emulate the sound of the good-old Fairchild hardware compressor. The price of $ 20 (€ 15) is a very good deal indeed.
